Prodotto da Jeff Sturms ( componente degli Ace In The Hole, la band che accompagna George Strait) West Of Nowhere è un album moderno, che attinge sicuramente da vari stile ( dal già citato George Strait a Keith Urban da Garth Brooks ai Lonestar) ma che rimane sempre su canoni decisamente country. I brani sono 11 e portano la firma di eccellenti songwriters fra cui Tom Shapiro, Chris Waters e Mark Nesler. Canzoni di spessore quindi, fra le quali brillano particolarmente l’opening track Where Her Memory Lives, Too Many Iron, I’d Fall For You e Somewhere I Wanna Go che si avvale della partecipazione di Bobby Flores. Molto now-country come registrazione e arrangiamento dei suoni, West Of Nowhere è un buon disco che mostra sei musicisti ormai pronti per il salto di qualità.
