We wanted to take a few minutes to express our gratitude for helping to make the MAN Roland, Flint, GMA customer appreciation event at The Green Room in Dallas on March 20, 2005 an overwhelming success. WON performed with star magnitude!

This event is held annually but the location rotates. We are often exploring cities and asking for recommendations and hoping for the best. This year the destination was Dallas. Although Dallas has much to offer we were a bit concerned about trying to find an entertainment mix that would work for our predominately male and somewhat conservative crowd.

The direction for music we were given was "country" but as you know that can mean different things to different people. We searched for a long time before we came upon your website. And once the dialogue started and each host company listened to your demo, I knew we had hit it right. But our expectations were far exceeded when we met you and the WON team!

Your music truly inspires and enthuses a crowd. You know how to read the audience and move them towards having a great time. The song selection was perfect for our diverse crowd, the music was tight and your willingness to honor requests was appreciated.

WON knew how to make our guests have the best possible time. And I have to mention that the dance floor remained full and active thanks to the great sound and the terrific attitude of your "roadies"! Even those reluctant to dance felt comfortable being lead by such great guys.

We so enjoyed the evening and truly appreciate your willingness to extend your play on a moments notice. There is no doubt in our mind that WON has what it takes to create a widely successful event. Most importantly, the guests all left feeling fantastic because you played for and to them!

We wish WON only the best as you move forward in the music industry. I have a feeling we will be hearing WON on the airwaves in the not so near future. And to anyone thinking of hiring WON for their event – you are guaranteed to create an everlasting impact with this very talented group entertaining your coworkers and guests.

To whom it may concern:

West of Nowhere recently appeared at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center to perform for a private event. As their first appearance at our hotel, the band arrived early and ready to work. They were one of the most professional, gracious and entertaining groups we’ve had in house. Then, as they transitioned to performers, they had the entire event tapping their toes and understanding what country music in Texas is all about. It is a pleasure and sometimes a rarity to work with groups of this caliber, and I know we’ll be using them again in the very near future. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic country band.
